We looked at the human body and our important organs in our Science lessons. We drew our bodies with chalk, and then drew and labelled our organs.
Skateboarding Workshop
Birch Class had the best time learning how to skateboard! We learned new skills today and a lot of us overcame our fears of getting on the skateboard. We may have fallen off a fair few times, but everyone got back up and carried on, which was incredible! Soon, we were all whizzing and zooming up and down the hall.
WORLD BOOK DAY!
What a fantastic day we had! The children looked amazing and we did some brilliant Roald Dahl inspired activities! Well done, everyone!
Poole's Cavern
What a fantastic trip we had! After our long coach journey, we arrived in at Poole's Cavern and quickly began exploring the cave with our tour guide. We learned about the different rock formations and the history of the cave, which dates back all the way to the Stone Age! After our tour, we went on a trek through the woodland and up to Soloman's Temple, where we all had chance to climb to the top and see the wonderful view - and came down looking very windswept! Every one of the children thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were outstanding examples of our school. Well done, Birch!
