Year 5 Cross Country Success at Lift Rawlett
On Tuesday 29th September, a team of Year 5 pupils proudly represented Woodlands School at the Cross Country event held at Lift Rawlett.
The children took on a challenging 1.2km course, demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the event. Competing against over 60 runners, in each race, from other schools, our pupils gave their very best and were a credit to Woodlands School from start to finish.
A special congratulations goes to Bobby D, who delivered an exceptional performance to finish 3rd overall in the boys' race. Equally impressive was Dixie R, who achieved a fantastic 10th place in the girls' race.
The boys' team consisted of Noah M 12th, Matthew CC 17th , Brody 20th , Stanley G 27th , Jenson M 28th , Casper M 36th , Travis 40th , Harry E 44th and Bobby D 3rd . The girls' team was made up of Dixie R 10th , Lexie 32nd , Angie 44th and Katie 45th .
We are incredibly proud of all the children for their achievements and for the positive way they conducted themselves. Well done, Team Woodlands!
